KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
5 quart, fitted with paddle attachment
Professional bakeries are better off investing in a larger 20 quart Hobard mixer (commission earned) as that will hold up better with frequent use. Used models are often available for a significantly reduced price
Use the paddle attachment
and the plastic splash guard, if available (comes with the KitchenAid Mixer) This is optional. It just helps contain the powdered sugar.
Cuisinart Food Processor 14-cup
Fitted with standard blade

I don’t own a food processor and not willing to purchase one just to try your frosting. I’m looking for a good American butter cream frosting, will this be a disaster without the food processor, should I look elsewhere for a recipe
