Is the pic cake in the book
I don’t understand the question. What is the pic cake?
Hi there! I just found your website and I’m complety overwhelmed by that cute pig – so thats why I’m thinking about puchasing the book. BUT I would also need instructions on the cake itself and not only the modeling chocolate – are there recipes includes? Thanks so much in advance and best regards from germany 🙂
Hi Nina,
The book is not a general cake book but rather a manual on how to use modeling chocolate. In some cases, like the pig cake, there are also instructions with photos and a diagram on how to create the body parts. The book contains 4 recipes for the modeling chocolate and 2 recipes buttercream frostings. The buttercreams act as the base for 8 different filling recipes, which are not included in the book but will be released in some form this year – I have been working on completing that project due to high demand. I have nothing new to add to the world in terms of cake sponge recipes because I never developed or inherited recipes that I could legally call my own. All the ones that I use come from cookbooks and are copyright protected. If you need help with cake sponge recipes, I recommend picking up a copy of the Cake Bible. For the pig cake, try a pound cake (also easy to find recipes for pound cake online) and be sure to go with thin layers of filling. Good luck and I would LOVE to see photos of your results!
If I puchase ebook do I still get the readers discount on tutorials
Yes!
Hi, Love your work! I have a question about the ebook, is it exactly the same as the printed copy?
Thanks
Thanks! The ebook has links to the associated videos on YouTube. The layout is a little different in each version. Otherwise, page for page, it is the same material.
