This giant gingerbread house interpretation of Alice in Wonderland is 4′ x 4′ x 2 1/2′ (1.2 x 1.2 x .76 m) and is made of gingerbread cookies, royal icing, gumpaste, and candy. It won second place at the 2009 Gingerbread City Competition in Del Mar, California.
The front entrance of the queen’s castle is covered with jelly beans.
It’s guarded by gumpaste playing cards.
