Jose Cuervo Tequila-on-the-Beach Cake
This 50th birthday cake topped with a Jose Cuervo tequila bottle, is frosted with combed buttercream, decorated with molded chocolate seashells, cake sand, and candy shells. The cork on the bottle is made of modeling chocolate.
Jam-Filled Heart Cookies
I made these Linzer raspberry jam-filled heart cookies drizzled with white chocolate while working as a pastry chef for a catering company.
Jelly Bean Gingerbread House
Rows of pastel jelly beans embedded in royal icing add texture to the front of my Wonderland Gingerbread House.
Jelly Bean Chimney
This time, the jelly beans represent the bricks or rocks of a giant chimney that runs through all the levels in Santa’s Gingerbread House Workshop.
Jack Daniel’s Bottle Cake
This Jack Daniel’s cake was frosted with buttercream and wrapped with a modeling chocolate label hand-painted with titanium dioxide food coloring.
Jacket for a Letterman Cake
This letterman’s jacket cake wrapped in modeling chocolate was made for a scholar basketball athlete named Katie.
Jello-Dipped Alien Cake Topper
This alien cake topper, made of marzipan with whittled pine nut teeth, was dipped in red jello for a covered-in-blood effect.
