Embedded into one of the side walls of my giant Wonka Gingerbread Candy Factory, there was a bubble machine.
To make the bubbles for my gingerbread cookie bubble machine, I first baked some small gingerbread cookie circles and different sized disks.

Then using tweezers, I dipped the baked disks into a bowl of very thin, watery royal icing.
Then I hung them to dry on a long wooden skewer.
I laid out the smaller circles on a piece of parchment paper. I let the extra icing run off these bits for a few minutes then pushed them to one side so that they wouldn’t end up drying in puddles of excess icing. Then I sprinkled them with some disco dust for a little extra sparkly shine.
To make the bubble machine’s mouth, I used my cookie tunnels technique, except I executed all the steps inside out to make a spout.
