True story! When I was six years old, I wrote this letter to Santa:

Which was full of clippings of toys that I wanted.
For the record, I ended up getting the Easy Bake Oven a year later. I remember watching my dad make some tiny, weird-tasting cakes in that hot plastic oven.
Here is the second gingerbread house that I ever made, age 12.
The first gingerbread house that I made broke so many times during the building process that I cried and ended up Elmer’s gluing it together.
Here was my first gingerbread house replica that I ever made at age 13. It was a collaboration project with my brother. We built a cookie and candy house to look like this Vermont A-frame.
